Special Features

The Bahr Woods Preserve includes more than 10,000 linear feet of river frontage along the west fork of the San Jacinto River, and contains 119 acres of palustrine wetlands. It holds numerous large-size trees including the new Montgomery County Champion Hercules Club (Zanthoxylum clava-herculis) – 7’ circumference, 11’ average crown spread and 25 ft. high.
