Special Features

A critical piece of the 1% remaining coastal prairie, this property represents an interdunal swale complex that is a severely threatened habitat type along the Texas Gulf Coast. The entire property is in the floodway of the Gulf of Mexico. Rare plant types including rush-sedge, seacoast bluestem and gulf dune paspulum, and sea oats and bitter panicum are found on the property.
