Special Features

The first conservation easement in the state of Texas to be signed with a County, this property was set aside for low-impact recreational use for the public as well as to provide a natural flood buffer zone for Spring Creek. The property has a 1 mile hiking trail which takes visitors through various eco-zones including a created wetland, pine and hardwood forest areas, and along Panther Branch, a tributary to Spring Creek.
